My husband and I discussed a regular blender to the Margaritaville and decided upon the Margaritaville DM2000 on the reviews. The best thing about the machine is that it’s the ice to make the alcohol mixture with shaved so perfectly smooth drinks. The worst thing is the offset between the ice shaver blender lid of the Sun and the ice tends to spit into the room. I like the fact that the ice melts, it is a collection for the melted water to take. Highly recommend this unit if you want to make home-made restaurant quality to blended drinks.
