I purchased the DeLonghi EC702 based virtually positioned on the reviews that are positive. I changed a 4-5 years old Breville machine within the same cost range. In contrast, the DeLongi makes superior espresso. If whatever you drink is espresso, it’s a great product…excellent crema, great taste, and straightforward operation. Should you drink cappucino and/or lattes, it definetly has its own disadvantages.
I swear that after the organization desinged and manufactured this factor, they never bothered testing it for anything apart from espresso. The frother wand is extremely awkward…far too near to the machine and way too short. It’s very cumbersome attempting to move the frothing pitcher around and that i have attempted small and big size pitchers. The peak clearance for cups can also be way too short. Again, should you only make espreso and employ really small cups, not a problem. If you are using a moderate size mug, there’s no way you’ll fit it in to the machine without getting rid of the drip tray cover. It’s very tight despite the drip tray removed. What were they thinking..
Everything being stated, DeLonghi EC702‘s shown to be a practical machine after my couple of days useful. It will produce tasty espresso drinks once you understand to operate round the eccentricities. It is only a little irritating to make use of.
